What We Do
Rescuing Wildlife
Our members answer phone calls to rescue displaced, injured, orphaned, and sick native wildlife. Sometimes having to travel far to rescue the animals. While sometimes the call ends with advice given.
Caring For Wildlife
Our members care for the injured, sick, and orphaned wildlife from their own homes.
Releasing Wildlife
Our Volunteers Take time out of their busy schedule to release the Animals in Care when they are ready to be released. We also bring back together Families where it is possible which is a reason why we like to know the exact location where an animal was found.
Training
Trainers will do 1-1 or small group training, providing new carers the opportunity with hands on experience and knowledge that larger workshops can’t provide.
All our trainers have years of hands-on experience with their chosen species.
The new carers will then be buddied up and mentored by their Area Educational Supervisor or have the choice to stay in touch with the trainer.
Our new carer mentoring will also provide the experience required to apply for a Wildlife Carer Permit for the chosen species.
